Poppydog and primroses

Down at our favourite walk but wreathed in a haar that has stuck around all day.

A trip into Kirkwall for bags of topsoil and then back to pickaxing mud. I can't believe how long this tiny patch taking but it's partly the amount of buried crud and partly a reluctance to just get out there and dig it out. It's not pretty work!

Lovely long chats to LH and LD this afternoon. The car has been fixed already; wedding disaster hopefully diverted. I miss them both.
