A good view?

I was over in Newton Mearns today visiting mum, however stopped in at Whitelaw Wind Farm, which isn’t far from the house. I have been to the windfarm a few times but never in over 70 degrees at 11am ... its very nice, long may it continue.

Anyway, it’s the UK’s (and Europe’s 2nd) largest wind farm with 215 turbines (75 more turbines in the offing too) and generates some 539 megawatts of electricity.

I left Newton Mearns in the mid 80s temperature wise, which is starting to get a bit hot for me.

It has certainly been a marvellous May weatherwise, let’s hope it continues.
