Abstract Thursday: The eye of the flower

I know that this week's Abstract Thursday challenge was to take a straight out of the camera abstract, but I had this idea, and hell, I couldn't resist having  a go to see whether it would work.  I'm not unpleased with how this Gerber turned out in the end.

Its been a very hectic few days at work.  One of my colleagues has had a major family tragedy crop up and for very understandable reasons has not been able to be in the office.  I've ended up picking up an involved piece of work for him that had a very short deadline attached to it, which has kept me busier than I would like for the last few days.  So it has been a pleasure to just sit and play creatively in Affinity Photo this evening whilst listening to music.
