View Across the Valley

I was up at my friend's farm in Blackshaw Head this afternoon.  This is the view from his front door across the Upper Calder Valley. The sky was threatening but no rain came.

I should point out that between the 'greenery' in the foreground and the fields below Stoodley Pike (on the skyline) is the steep-sided Upper Calder Valley - 600 ft deep.
