EUREKA!

On the Fife Coastal Path near Kinghorn this afternoon looking for subjects to blip, I spotted what I thought was a pair of common blue butterflies fluttering around each other.
No. They were Northern Brown Argus butterflies. I have never seen one before and never expected to see one (let alone two!). I only managed two over-exposed shots of the male - they flew away while I was adjusting the camera settings.
Not sure if they need to be reported to anyone.

The 'Extra' is a clump of rockrose growing nearby - (its larval foodplant).
