Special

What a special evening.  Huge thanks to the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust for organising it and to Colin from Turus Mara for taking us on the Staffa trip.  Time on the island was a bit shorter than planned as got diverted by sightings of basking sharks (including one that breeched) and then a glimpse of a Minke whale.  The weather was beautiful, sunny and little wind. On Staffa the midges were out (K kindly modelled a midge net - see extra) and the puffins weren't playing ball, saw one or two on the water, reckon there was a party going on on Lunga, but that really didn't matter.  Extras also of basking shark fin and the sun going down. Got home around 11pm.  Time to go and sort where stuff is going exhibition wise.

Best viewed large.

Going to fetch R from the ferry later - all good :)
