Paisley Close

I had a good long sleep last night, but still struggled to get up this morning.  I stayed in bed a bit longer and went with TT for the train.  I spent the day catching up with a long list of wee things that just need to be done.  Unfortunately I didn’t get through my list and have thought of a few more things that need to be added to the list.

Fortunately I hadn’t taken a sandwich with me today, so that forces me to get out of the office at lunchtime on the pretext of buying some lunch.  I also had a wee wander in the sunshine.  I had my first proper meeting with my new line manager today – which seemed to go well. At least we were on the same wave length about a number of the challenges that we are facing.

I took BB to his football training tonight, only to discover it wasn’t on – and no one had told us.  I had planned to go for a walk with a friend, but ended up going for a walk by myself when we got back home as it was such a beautiful evening.
