All part of the story

By Treshnish

Gathering at this time of year is always slow as there are young lambs, so you need to go at the slowest pace.   They started at 5.30am and got back to the farm just before 10am for breakfast.  The bulk of our ewes live on the hill and they will be marked on Monday.  S, with J and D's help put the Blackie ewes and lambs from the Sitheans through the fank and finished having had a break for lunch about 4.00pm.

I had the pleasure of meeting S this afternoon, who was born about 3 weeks ago.  She is perfect.

We are off out this evening to a Supper Club in Dervaig which has recently started up.
