All alone am I!

This morning, I had my usual Saturday collection in Duns, Berwickshire. It’s not far away, just twenty-six miles, it takes me an hour and a half to do the run, there and back. There’s not much to see en route, but this lonely hawthorn tree standing on Greenlaw moor, drew my attention.

I worked in the lab from half past nine until four and the stretches I am doing for my sciatica must be helping a wee bit - I managed the whole shift standing up, I didn’t have to resort to a stool. I was in a fair bit of pain by the time I finished though! I have one more day to work, then I’m on holiday for a week - it’s all good.
