Tough day....the contrast between the beaches of Lewis (I’ll backblip later when I have time!) with relaxed and congenial company and today’s frantic round of management meetings and conversations with extremely demanding people has been stark.
Luckily I ended the day by dipping into a conference and chatting to some lovely people who reminded me of the good stuff. Slightly random sculpture outside the venue....not sure of the inspiration for it! Home to try and regain some balance and chat to AR at bath time.
Best news of the day - A has got a first in her degree. What an achievement. Brilliant girl...I’m so proud of her.
