Black-backed Gull

I think this is a black-backed gull. It's been very cool and breezy here at the beach in Hull, Massachusetts. We didn't go "to the beach" as such, but my friend Jane's house is ocean front, so I just stood on the porch for a while trying to take a photo or two of a gull. This is obviously nothing special in any photographic sense. But it's the Atlantic Ocean, and a couple of gulls.

I'll be heading home tomorrow - spending the night part way home - and then finishing up the drive on Wednesday.
