Saint Columba's Feast Day

A cruiseship was moored off S Queensferry, so we knew one of the boat companies would not be visiting the island, but tendering instead. For the third time, however, and without telling us, the other company simply cancelled all landings, leaving us standing at the pier while they sailed past. :[ No visitors.
Anyway, there was a lot of cleaning to be done, as ever, and we had to set up for a wedding on Saturday, as well as for a group who will come to sing a plainchant service in honour of St Columba, using music written on the island, preserved in a manuscript from around 1340.
Note how shiny clean the windows of the chapterhouse look!
