Music

Tonight we were at the Royal Albert Hall for a concert of film music by John Williams and Hans Zimmer, featuring music from blockbuster films such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Inception and Pirates of the Caribbean. The music was accompanied by an impressive lightshow, and the conductor of the London Concert Orchestra, Anthony Inglis, introduced the pieces with plenty of humour (and the help of an occasional costume change).  A very enjoyable evening.

With luck, we will be back at the Royal Albert Hall in a few weeks time for some concerts from the BBC Proms series although, if we are again in the arena, there won't be any seats on that occasion!
