Curious insect

As I was sitting under the trees in the garden, this curious insect kept coming to look at me.  That's how it felt anyway.

I had a good experiment with camera lenses and settings to try and get a photo, and this was the best of a fuzzy bunch.  It was on the highest shutter speed I could and manual focus (auto couldn't manage as the insect moved too quickly) and then the shadows lightened in Lightroom.  I'll try again one day.  Off to Bookgroup now...
