Forgotten little Beauties

When this plant started to come up in one of my pots I wondered what it was. I had forgotten that I had planted a perennial fuchsia last year; actually I didn't really think it would winter over when I planted it last year, but here it is with these beautiful red flowers that the hummingbirds love.

Today we returned to the eye doctor and all seems to be healing well but we have to return for another post op visit in a week. Seems like our car could automatically find that doctor's office. Hopefully we will only need to go there a couple of times, but really I shouldn't complain; I am just grateful that a fix to my husband eye problem is available.
