Vintage steam convoy

This weekend there is a vintage steam event at Oswestry Showground and this evening some of the participants went to the pub in my village for a meal. They left their transport in the car park which made quite a sight, there were a number of different types of traction engines and a steamroller parked up.

Afterwards they trundled back to the show ground. The blip is of a couple of traction engines leaving the pub car park passing the village castle where there is a mediaeval Living History weekend. You can see the tents by the castle moat as the re-enactors camp there living as life would have been.

The extra is one that I liked of my granddaughter playing in the garden.

Apologies for being behind with comments, I’ll catch up soon!
