Sutton

We went to Sutton Coldfield, a town north of Birmingham and part of the metropolitan area, to see Sam, Dave and Izzy who have recently moved to another house there with Dave's mum. It's a lovely house with a great garden and an attached building idea for converting into a 'granny' flat.

We wandered down the road to Boldmere where a community festival was setting up. The main street had been closed and stalls and rides, plus a stage for the music, were being erected. The Midlands Owl Rescue people were there too. I know I've blipped owls from there before, but they are difficult to resist.
