No longer just a swathe of short grass! Thus is much more attractive but it does mean that walking tends to be along the proscribed pathways instead of our usual wander.

Poppydog went for her acupuncture and usual general vet inspection. Wee piggy has become weightier than she should be so maybe her disinclination to eat was more to do with lack of hunger (although that's never stopped her before in living memory!). She is getting a dose of her usual Pulsatilla remedy and a hydrotherapy session to get her moving has been booked! That was the whole morning gone.

LH has tackled half the grass and filled two green bins. That's our lot. We do need to set up compost bins (they're on the plan!) as it's crazy to have to drive half an hour to the tip - very un-green!

Now I'm back I've sorted out remedies for my M-I-L which I hope she'll take. Anything to try and get her energy up and her out of hospital.

Now next job: quilting Dad's 90th birthday present - the deadline is beginning to loom!
