PLEASANT POINT

Yes its called Pleasant Point ( not to be confused with Pleasant Point in South Canterbury ) Pleasant it was today with a light NW breeze giving us a temp of around 15o - But wait there's more - this is the home of the Yacht Club I belong to - a Low tide shot towards the South Islands Alpine Mountain range - which had a good dumping of snow last night 
( background) We are in for it.  My friend always told me we have a warm NW every year 1 week either side of the shortest day - He's been right for the last 15 since he told me asI've been checking -
