Television awards like confetti
Yet another award for my friend Maria Craig, film director, for her film “Hear Me Now”.
This short factual documentary made by media students at Stirling University is based on my book
The Children of Craigynos, focuses on children’s experiences inside a TB sanatorium, has been showered with awards like confetti.
But last week it won the best student documentary at the Royal Television Society annual awards, in the British Film Institute, the most prestigious so far.
So congratulations to Maria and her team.
