Cute

Set off for a long drive around the coast...slightly disappointed that it was rather cloudy but the scenery was still amazing. I love the strong lines of the lava flows across the island, the cliffs and the lush greenery.
We just arrived in time for the Iona ferry and wandered around through the craft shops and abbey - unlike last time we decided to go in and take the audio tour.
The weather wasn't cheering up so we didn't fancy the walk further around the island that we'd planned so caught the boat over to Staffa. Saw seals on the way, then were delighted with not only sunshine on Staffa but also loads of puffins. Was magical to have them flying and standing so close to us.
After we got back to Mull we spent a lovely hour or so walking on the beaches opposite Erraid in gorgeous sunshine. So beautiful.
Over to Ninth Wave restaurant for dinner - all absolutely delicious local ingredients and some amazing flavours and presentation.
Thank goodness for the light evenings - we had a long drive home and arrived at nearly midnight!
