The Hope

Our nearest village is St Margaret's Hope.  It's there that the ferry comes in, where the doctor, school, village hall, shops, pub and cafes are, and where I went this afternoon to deliver the completed cushion cover to Sheena.

She gave me an old patchwork quilt which she wanted made into six cushion covers for the caravan which she is turning into a mobile art gallery.  Quite an undertaking, as she's doing nearly all the work herself!

Back into The Hope this evening for the dancing.  We danced the Duke of Perth, Twisting Bobbins, Postie's Jig and many more, including several attempts at the Irish Rover!  We think we have got it, and then it dissolves into laughter and chaos!  So long as we are competent at it by the time of the big ceilidh in September!
