Pictorial blethers

Leith evening

I’m always struck by the long sunset on this side of Scotland, the flat light with no hills to obstruct it as the sun sets far to the west. This is The Shore, Leith, at about 9 o’clock this evening as we head back to Newhaven after dinner in Tapa (I resisted the churros).

It’s as sunny as it has been in the west, but several degrees cooler - I had a jacket on for the first time in a week!
