Hot

Thankfully we have the dry, cooling wind from the north, rather than the humid wind from the south, because the weather is hot. There are compensations, though, in the form of perfectly ripe, slightly warm figs, picked straight from the tree to end the evening meal. The cooler evening is welcome, allowing us to sit out on the terrace as the sun sets [see extra].
