The Bishop's Garden

I had the privilege of spending some peaceful time in the Bishop's garden this morning. He asked me to come and take some photos of his roses to show his friends overseas what he looked out on each day. I was delighted to make the acquaintance of such a gentle and humble man.

Then off to Confession.

I took Cousteau for a walk and got home to find a tearful Rae, who had just had a prang in her car. She is fine, but the car won't be on the road again.

CP arrived just in time, and has offered her the use of his spare car until she can get herself sorted.

He helped her to tow her car back to our place and we patched her up as best as we could.

Then I became a princess and was taken to a winery, where we had a picnic lunch and I was spoiled silly.

Another winery, where this was taken - Terrace Edge. The guy showed us around the vines and told us a bit about the wines. We bought a bottle, of course, and I purchased a bottle of olive oil for Rae, to cheer her up.

Off to Cust for a cup of coffee, before heading home.

CP, unbeknownst to me, had organised a barbecue tea for us - he has invited B, JL, D and Es and baby J.

I've felt thoroughly spoilt. My birthday has spanned several days, and I've had a lovely time. He even bought me a new charm for my Pandora bracelet.

I am so blessed, and so grateful for all of these blessings.

Off to socialise now.
