Swagsite in the Sunshine

We so enjoyed an early arrival at Well 5, after driving from McConkeys Hill.
We camped in amongst the mulga trees, sat in the sunshine, hung out washing, and also shook out our wet tarps, from the rain last night. It was just a small shower fortunately, but a learning curve for all that. It felt strange pulling a tarp up over my head. My Tassie friend was so pleased to be relaxing in the sunshine!

We visited wells 10 - 5 today, and had an unusual visit at Well 7. We met the local owner of the territory, a fascinating aboriginal woman called Lena. She was born in the outback, somewhere - she pointed all around her and said that that was her hospital!

There's an image of the road with spinifex down the middle. It was such a constant sight that it seems that you'll already have seen it!
