Everlasting Sweet Pea

Walking back from golf this morning I stopped by Jean's garden to take a quick photo of her flourishing clump of everlasting sweet peas which appear at this time every year.

I confess to plonking a ball onto each green and trying my hand at a bit of putting ... no cocking of the wrist in my putting stroke so it was quite safe to have a gentle hit or two .... still needed two shots to sink the ball.

A lovely afternoon spent mostly reading in the garden. I realised that I was going to finish Robert Harris's 'Munich' sooner than expected and as I hadn't brought any other book with me we headed along to the library. We both came back with two books but doubt If I'll finish both before the return date.
