Falkland

Day three in Fife and Falkland was a joy to visit. A trip down memory lane as we have strong family connections with this very quaint village. It is like stepping back in time and parts of the village are used as the backdrop for scenes in the ‘Outlander’ television series.

We didn’t visit the palace (see extras) this time having seen round it several times but it has a very interesting history and was one of Mary, Queen of Scots, favourite residences.
