All part of the story

433

Thank you R and E.  They started at 7am and finished about 3pm. They sheared 433 between the two of them.   There is always a sense of relief when the ewes are all done, and back with their lambs.  The field is noisy for a few hours as they all mother up again.   R had wanted me to photograph her shearing a ewe in a particular way, I am not sure I succeeded.

Unfortunately the source of the leak has not been found.  Investigations are ongoing.  It isn't in between the borehole and the filtration system.  It isn't between the final storage tank and the filtration system.  It doesn't appear the leak is in any of the cottages or our house.   There is a maze of pipework underground and no visible sign of water seepage.  There is unspoken (increasing) pressure to find the problem before the reserve of water runs out.  Serious family hold back measures in place re washing machines, baths and general water usage.

The professional photographer spent a long day in the Coronation Meadow.   There is a book project and also an exhibition next year sometime in London.   It will be really interesting to see his photographs from here.
