Cala Lily

Rain this morning ..... a new experience ..... I haven't worn a waterproof jacket in weeks.

L played her round of golf .... mostly in the rain while I stayed home and read. I did go out eventually and walk up to the Deli for milk and cereal.

There was a table of rather damp flowers and plants outside the ice cream shop .... the colours of the Cala Lily seemed so much brighter in the rain.

I'm trying to take more care with my camera after the rather expensive repair so trying to keep the new lens barrel as dry as possible this is THE photo taken today.

It's a lovely evening now .... pavements are dry, puddles have disappeared and we have large patches of blue sky.
