I had a bit of a break because was beginning to bore even myself. It would be good to come back with something spectacular, but it wasn't to be. I had a busy day's gardening  but I clumsily broke off some hydrangea heads, so I thriftily made a feature of them.  I took a couple of days of work so inevitably we had the first rain in six weeks. I should hire myself out to farmers.
And a bee! in the extras. The bees are back.
