Rather frustrating...

Bedtime very soon after an intense day.

It is late and I am so tired, so it will be a quick blip.

I was really worried about Hero's performance. We haven't had great training up to this championship and it has been so hot. Hero has seemed tired.

I had a plan for what I would do, if I didn't feel he was up for it once we got into the ring. I was ready to stop and just leave the ring, if he didn't look ok.

But he was amazing. Tired or not - he performed his best Ghost Story ever. He was so good.

And now to the frustrating part. Once the competition was over, it was announced that we had placed 11th. But one of the judges has just commented on Facebook saying that there was a mistake in the calculations, so now I have no idea which placing we got. I really would have appreciated if they had contacted the involved parties to let them know. This is a world championship. It is important.

Nevertheless I am super proud of Hero and no matter our placing, we could not have done more.

Edit: It looks like we finish 12th, so it's not a big difference :-)
