Sells Green (Saturday 21st July 2018)

Quick stroll this evening when it got a little cooler, looking for wildflowers on the canal banks. I recognise this plant in front of the greater willowherb but I don't know what it's called. With thanks to Miranda1008 for the Wild Flower Week challenge.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Little Richard - In The Name (recorded June 1971, Hollywood CA)
Between 1970 and 1972 Little Richard recorded three albums for Frank Sinatra's Reprise label. Actually he recorded four but the final one wasn't released because the previous two had sold disappointingly. The three are collected on a newly mastered audiophile 2CD set and I previously posted a track from The Rill Thing, the first of the three that I listened to. Today I played the second album, King Of Rock And Roll, and I have to say it is inferior to the first. The single from the album was Green Power, written by the producer HB Barnum, but for me the best track was the only Little Richard composition on the album, In The Name. Little Richard came back to the song for his 1973 album Right Now! so perhaps he thought so too. He also recorded a country style version. I've yet to play the third album, The Second Coming.
