Stokesia Laevis

Stokesia Laevis 'Mels Blue' has larger flowers and strikingly clearer blue flowers.
Seems very similar to cornflowers but is not completely hardy. Wet feet are usually disastrous for this plant. Also covers the plant in severe frost.
Plant it in a well-drained normal garden soil in a warm place, tolerates drought.
Is half wintergreen in mild winters.
