Parliament Square: Station Smoker

Big smokier in large.

Met a friend for a central London photoamble: we met at Westminster Station for some people photography by the statues on Parliament Square, along Whitehall, and then got a coffee and visited the birds in St. James's Park. We picked that route because we thought the tourists'd be distracted which'd make candids easier...
I spotted a surprisingly tame juvenile pied wagtail on the South Bank across the river from the Houses of Parliament en route, and this smoker in the colonnade by Westminster Station while waiting to start our photoamble.
I limited myself to Ross's gosling shots in the park (hum, and an amusing heron), and caught it taking some early attempts at flight which was exciting!
