Hedge trimming time again!

While everything around us is dying from lack of water the dreaded Pyracantha is going berserk!

I don't like Pyracantha but the birds love it for nesting in and the lovely berries in the winter so I tolerate it and try to keep it tidy after the blackbirds have finished nesting.

Oh, just remembered. That hedgehog I blipped a while ago disappeared, I thought it had gone elsewhere to find food as we don't have many slugs and snails around with the dry weather.
This morning, at 0430, the dogs and I went out the back for a call of nature and there he/she was on the lawn. A lovely surprise.
My call of nature, by the way, was to the loo not the lawn!
