No matter how I look at it...

... it's hot! It's almost midnight and it's still very hot outside and therefore also inside the house. Nienke and Inge have their bedrooms on the highest floor and it's almost unbearable up there. Yet, somehow, they find a way to sleep.

Today my mother had an appointment in hospital, for the pain she has had for the last couple of weeks. The doctor did manage to diagnose her, but now she has to wait for a procedure which should relief the pain...

In other news: the airconditioning in our car broke today. Perfect, with the heat out. To make matters worse, this may very well not be repaired in time for our upcoming vacation in Germany next week. Tomorrow we'll know more.
