Despite the recession in Aberdeen caused by the reduction in the oil price things still look pretty busy in the port. It is in the city itself the effects are more obvious. The empty shops and offices, the restaurants closing, the low hotel room occupancy rate, and the falling house prices.

This photograph was not the intended picture for today, I had another lined up taken in Fittie. However I liked the cloud and industrial look of this picture. I expect I could have aged it or converted it to Sepia, however for me it warks as it is.
