Food Festival

This weekend, from yesterday through to Sunday, is the Food Festival in Huddersfield. Its one of the better ones, simply because St George's Square is one of the best locations for an outdoor food festival. It accommodates crowds really well, and you get a good variety of stalls.

I took my team down at lunchtime, which went down well. I had alligator stir fry, one of my colleagues went for a Greek Halloumi wrap, one for chocolate and strawberry crepe, and the other two went for Chilli Chicken Nacho's. Always worth giving people a chance to relax - do something a little different, and it would be a shame not to make the most of such a fabulous event on our doorstep (well, 10 minute drive...)

The statue is Harold Wilson, born in Huddersfield, and one time PM. The building behind is the Railway station - and I swear its one of the poshest I've seen in the UK. It is a remarkably grand exterior.
