Ruppell's Vulture in flight

I went to the Birds of Prey Centre in the Cotswolds today with Aliscotia to practise shutter speeds and fast moving objects.  Some of the birds they flew, particularly the falcons, were too fast even to see in the viewfinder!  The vultures were easier to photograph luckily although sadly they are now critically endangered in Africa through eating poisoned carcasses of the elephants which are slaughtered for their ivory.

In extras are one of the beautiful Bateleur Eagles they have, as well as Desmond the Great Horned Owl and his lovely golden eye.
