Mono Monday....Burst

I don't do many Black & White photos but I decided to join in today for Mono Monday. The theme is "Blast" and Laurie suggested we look at all the different meanings and the synonyms....when "burst" came up I thought it might work for this accidental shot of the Pine Tree behind my house. I was photographing a hummingbird but the camera decided to focus on the pine tree in the distance.......and this is what I got and I liked it. It looks like the pine needles are bursting away from the branch! 

It was a productive day....we didn't go back to the beach yet...and I have a couple commitments on Wednesday so I wont go back until Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
