Eastpark

Today's blip is a section of a mural on Maryhill Road, Glasgow. See the extra for the full mural.

The mural, in the Eastpark area of Maryhill, was created in 2014 to coincide with the Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow and was a partnership between Maryhill Housing Association and the Glasgow 2014 legacy team. It represents the multi-cultural nature of the area and also features some local landmarks, including the Forth and Clyde Canal, as well as the annual children's outing to Troon organised by Glasgow's taxi drivers..
