Sunny Salford

Had a great day today with Quotidian.

Started the day at the Imperial war museum and took this shot of the Lowry Gallery from the roof (bigger version HERE) - i took a similar view from ground level once before but love the view up here! Then we crossed over the bridge to the Lowry for two fantastic exhibitions, the Guardian photographers and Jem Southams landscapes. Both well worth a visit.

Then over to the Whitworth Gallery for the Subversive Spaces exhibition, Surrealism + contemporary art. Bit of a mixed bag but some really stunning pieces in there. Finally to Manchester Art Gallery so that Quotidian could see their new Gormley that i blipped the other day.

Busy but brilliant day in gorgeous (nippy) sunshine! :)
