Sunflower

Many of the very tall sunflowers with the huge sunny faces have been a battered in the recent squally weather and the flowerheads which once reached up to the sun are now looking down on the earth.

This sunflower is much smaller and was protected by a brick in the Pollok Park vegetable garden.

We've had no sun today but it has been pleasantly warm .... ideal conditions for walking through the park accompanied by two dogs.
