Fairytale house at Ramme gård, Norway

Hvitsten is a small village at the coastline close to Oslo. In the woods you will find Ramme farm that Edvard Munch bought in 1910 as a summer residence and atelier. He painted several of his famous paintings here, including Alma Mater to the University hall in Oslo.  Munch owned the property until his death in 1944.

Petter Olsen is now the owner of the property and develop the farm to a hotel and museum, and a farm. The fairytale building is used as a café.
