Where the Light Gets In

Head Bunting

animal hongi --
foreheads together to show
we are family

Sherlock doesn't do it, but Sookie does, and I love that she does, as I am touched by the Maori salute (see link in the haiku) of bringing foreheads and noses together. It is at once a physical bond and an emotional one, as if thoughts (or what passes for thoughts in animals' heads) were shared through the combined walls of two foreheads.

Extras: I continued with my Black Mirror selfportraits.
