Penalty

Another new local ground for me: Dam Lane, Yeadon where the roar of the aircraft at neighbouring Leeds-Bradford Airport substitutes for the roar of a crowd. There were about a dozen of us in attendance.

Ventus Yeadon Celtic were hosting Bramhope in the (pause for breath) Heck Foods Harrogate and District Football League Colin Lowe Memorial Premier Division, which sits below the County leagues at Level 14 of the English Football Pyramid.

The main image sees an attack from Yeadon (black and white) which led to a penalty. The penalty was missed, but the entertaining match ended 2-2.

Unfortunately the evening became more memorable for, apparently, allowing my wallet to slip out of my pocket on the bus and not noticing until I'd got off and the bus had pulled away.
