Wide Wednesday . . . WEATHER

Last night we had an orange sunset and the sun was reflecting on stratus clouds which I thought would have been good for todays weather topic. At that time   the forester was returning magazines to our 91 year old neighbour Fred.  He asked Fred about the cloud formation because Fred used to pilot gliders.  A little later Fred came over with three printed sheets of cloud formations and their names.  He doesn't glide anymore but does still blat about on his electric bike.
Using Fred's sheets I think the clouds above the marina are cirrus and perhaps that means the fair weather will continue.  It was 16.c or 60.f when I took the photo.
Thanks Bob for running wide Wednesdays.
