Lone man on rock

Up at dawn, packs packed and on the road. Our packs are heavy and we’re not used to carrying them, but we’re managing.

We did a side walk of 3 km to see Rainbow Falls. It was well worth the walk, not the falls as such, but the view was gorgeous.

This is one of our boys getting a bit of solitude from the group.

We got into camp and set up. We’d dried out from the downpour we were caught in at lunchtime. There was a koala in camp. He didn’t seem too fussed by us.

Lots of tired kids and a few tired teachers. It’s been a great day. My legs held up better than I thought they would!
