Hidden Leeds

This is a true hidden gem in the centre of Leeds.  It's down a back street behind the Metropole Hotel and sits on top of their service entrance.  It's definitely the most ornate service entrance I've seen.

I suspect this is a Leeds crest fromt he days when Leeds was a centre for cloth and tailoring.

Whilst this photo has many straight lines, none of them relate to each other!
